Love this place!

My husband and I really love this small trattoria. We have found the food to be consistently excellent and we have eaten at all the fine restaurants in the Conejo Valley. My favorite is the mushroom risotto – it is better than sex – seriously. Very rich – I take half of it home for a 2nd day of ecstasy. Gino is a real character – always taking a personal interest in you. He serves a delicious homemade chocolate liqueur after dinner in a frozen glass – the perfect end to a perfect meal.

Tasty Food, Fun Atmosphere

Thanks to Trip Advisor, my husband and I discovered this gem last Saturday. I’ve driven past the restaurant on T.O. Blvd many times but didn’t realize what a charming and tasty meal awaited.

Quirky spot, good food

Went there last night for a light dinner. We had salmon dish and a pasta. Also split the caprese salad. Everything was tasty, well prepared and fresh. Gino was in rare form, the restaurant was not crowded so I am sure he felt particularly able to be informal. A nice spot for a casual meal well prepared.

Hands down my favorite restaurant

I have lived in Thousand Oaks most of my life and feel cheated that I didn’t know about this restaurant sooner.

The food here is delicious! This is an authentic Italian restaurant that offers some of the usual Italian fare (which is excellent) but really shines in the dishes that are Gino’s own creations. I get something different every time and have never been disappointed.

Gino’s Trattoria

Gino’s Trattoria brings authentic Italian food to the heart of Conejo Valley, on Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Gino’s is a warm and friendly environment that offers nightly specials, happy hour and a full bar and wine list. Nightly specials include traditional Italian dishes such as Braciole, Osso Bucco and Pescatore. True Napolitan pizza is also served on a nightly basis–a voted favorite in the Conejo Valley.
